A 55-year-old man, who posed as a police officer in a 2017 dacoity case involving Rs 52.5 lakh, has been arrested in Delhi after evading arrest for nearly nine years.
An eight-year-old son of a local dentist was abducted and then brutally killed allegedly by two persons, including a former employee at his clinic who wanted to seek revenge for being sacked from his job, police said.
Four Indian Army personnel, a Border Security Force sub-inspector and six civilians were killed while four security forces personnel and eight civilians were injured in the firing by Pakistan during the multiple ceasefire violations between Gurez and Uri sectors in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
